The Knicks and Rangers - a 1 billion dollar disaster

Obviously it's not Madison Square Garden's fault that the teams inside it are a disaster. But the fact remains that high school level teams would pose a real tough competition for the Knicks and Rangers at the moment. The Knicks fell again tonight 109-94 to the Cavs and the Rangers lost 4-1 to the Predators. Just when things looked like they were turning around for both team (Knicks 2 game winning streak, Rangers a win and a 2-0 lead over the Devils) things have fallen squarely back to earth and both look terrible again. Good thing it's still early in the season!

But seriously, between the Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, Nets, Jets, and Giants right now New York Sports are about as bad as I can ever remember.
